Questions, answered

Orders

How do I place an order?

Search for a product by name or ingredient, add it to your cart and check out. You can check out as a guest or sign in to save addresses and see your order history.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can cancel an order from your order page until it has been packed. After that, contact us through the Contact page and we will do our best to help.

Are your prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes. All prices are shown and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). Sales tax (GST/HST, and PST or QST where it applies) is added at checkout based on your province.

Do you sell prescription medications?

Not on this website. We sell non-prescription medications, natural health products, health devices and personal care products. For prescriptions, please use your local pharmacy. Some products (Schedule II, like insulin) are kept behind the counter and a pharmacist will contact you before they ship.

Why does a pharmacist contact me about some items?

Certain non-prescription products are Schedule II under Canadian pharmacy rules, which means a pharmacist must speak with you before supplying them. It only takes a minute and helps make sure the product is right for you.

Payment

Do you charge GST/HST or provincial sales tax?

Many health products, such as personal care items and most non-prescription medications, are taxable. Some items are zero-rated, for example menstrual products, insulin and diabetes supplies, and meal-replacement drinks. The exact tax for your province is shown at checkout.

How can I pay?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit cards that support online payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Can I get a receipt for insurance or taxes?

Yes. Every order comes with an official receipt you can download from your order page. Some health spending accounts and the medical expense tax credit accept eligible products such as diabetes supplies; check with your plan.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver anywhere in Canada, including rural and remote addresses served by Canada Post or our courier partners. We do not ship to the United States or any other country.

How long does delivery take, and can I track it?

Orders placed by the evening cut-off are delivered the same day in the Greater Toronto Area. Elsewhere, most orders ship within one business day and arrive in 2 to 5 business days, with a tracking link by email.

How do you ship insulin and other fridge items?

Refrigerated products such as insulin are delivered by our own couriers within the Greater Toronto Area, packed to stay between 2 and 8°C. We don't ship refrigerated items outside the GTA.

Returns

Can I return medications?

Non-prescription medications can't be returned once they've left the pharmacy, for everyone's safety. If anything arrives damaged, wrong or close to expiry, tell us within 7 days and we'll replace or refund it.

What is your return policy for other products?

Unopened, unused non-medicine items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Start a return from your account or the Contact page. Some items, such as opened personal care products and devices for hygiene reasons, cannot be returned.

Account & privacy

How do you protect my health information?

We handle your personal health information in line with Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Your data is stored on servers located in Canada, and only staff who need it to care for you can access it. See our Privacy page for details.

I live in Quebec. What are my privacy rights?

Quebec residents have additional rights under Quebec's Law 25, including the right to access and correct your information, to request that it be deleted or moved where the law allows, and to be told about automated decisions. Contact us through the Contact page to make a request.

Do you offer service in French?

Yes. Service en français sur demande. Let us know in your account settings, by chat or by phone, and a French-speaking team member or pharmacist will help you whenever possible.

Pharmacist advice

Can I talk to a pharmacist at any time?

Yes. Our licensed pharmacists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone or through Ask the Pharmacist. They can help you choose the right product, check interactions with medications you take and tell you when to see a doctor. In an emergency, call 911.

Is Ask the Pharmacist really free?

Yes. Ask any question about non-prescription products, side effects, interactions or everyday health. Answered questions are shared without your name so others can learn too.

How can I verify that you are a licensed pharmacy?

Our pharmacy accreditation and pharmacist details are listed on our Licences page. You can confirm them yourself by searching the public register on the Ontario College of Pharmacists website.
