About this medication
Azithromycin is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. It is also used to treat and prevent disseminated Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) infection [a type of lung infection that affects people with a suppressed immune system).

How to use
Take azithromycin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

- Temporary eye irritation, stinging or burning
- Blurred vision for a short time
- Redness or watering of the eye
