About this medication
Besivance 0.6% 5 ml contains besifloxacin, a prescription antibiotic eye drop. It is used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) caused by susceptible bacteria. Use it exactly as prescribed, and shake the bottle once while it is upside down before each use. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment or touch the dropper tip to your eye or other surfaces.

How to use
Wash your hands, apply the number of drops advised into the affected eye without touching the dropper tip to the eye, and use as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Common side effects
- Temporary eye irritation, stinging or burning
- Blurred vision for a short time
- Redness or watering of the eye
- Talk to your doctor if side effects continue or get worse
