Uses

How to use
Inject under the skin within 15 minutes before or right after a meal, using the dose set by your doctor. A pharmacist will contact you before dispensing to review your insulin use.
Common side effects
- Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
- Injection-site reactions
- Skin changes at injection sites (rotate sites)
- Low potassium (rare)
Stop use and talk to a pharmacist or doctor if side effects are severe or don't go away. Report side effects to Health Canada MedEffect.
Safety advice
AlcoholAlcohol can lower blood sugar; check your glucose more often when drinking.
DrivingCheck your blood sugar before driving; do not drive if it is low (under 4.0 mmol/L).
PregnancyCan be used in pregnancy under medical supervision.
