About this medication
Vasozine Eye Drops is a sterile ophthalmic solution available in a 10 ml bottle. Each ml of the solution contains Tetrahydrozoline Hydrochloride 0.5 mg (0.05% w/v) as the active ingredient, along with Benzalkonium Chloride equivalent to 0.01% w/v as a preservative and isotonic base q.s.

How to use
The recommended dosage for adults and children aged 6 years and older is 1 to 2 drops instilled into the affected eye(s) up to 4 times a day. The drops should be used only as needed for temporary relief. It is important to stop use and consult a doctor if the condition worsens or if the redness or irritation persists for more than 72 hours (3 days).
Common side effects
- Mild stinging
- Burning sensation in the eye immediately after application
- Temporary blurred vision
- Slightly dilated pupils (mydriasis)
